Software Product Marketing
About Course
Welcome. Over the next four weeks you will learn how to take a software product to market — how to attract the right people, educate them, convert them into users, and onboard them so they stick. This is the F and T part of our S.O.F.T. framework, and it is the team you are on.
The month runs six days a week. Monday to Friday each have one daily lesson built from three blocks: a Think block (the idea of the day), a Tool block (hands-on inside Meta or Google), and a Do block (produce something with the tool). Saturday is a shorter consolidation day where you assemble and present the week’s work. Sunday is off.
You are assessed in three ways, and you should know all three from day one. First, completion — finish each daily lesson. Second, a short quiz at the end of each week that checks you actually understood the ideas, not just clicked through them. Third, a weekly assignment — the real deliverable, the thing you build. The assignment is where you show you can do the job, and it is what we discuss in the Saturday review.
One rule that matters more than any other: when you are stuck, spend thirty minutes trying to solve it yourself — search, read the documentation, ask an AI assistant — before you bring it to your lead. When you do bring it, say what you already tried. This is not us being unhelpful. It is how you become someone who can work without us.
